On the 6th of September 2017, the government approved the final version of the Comprehensive Reconstruction Plan that has been put together by the Authority for Reconstruction with Changes. The final version includes a 10% increase from the earlier draft, totaling 8 billion USD. Of this amount, 77% will be directed to reconstruction projects, 21% to prevention investments and 2% to capacity building for the units that will execute the plan. The seven regions that have been given priority are Piura, La Libertad, Áncash, Lambayeque, Lima, Tumbes and Ica.
